Giphy

A timeless classic: Charlie Brown never gets old.

Scary Godmother: Halloween Spooktacular

Giphy

I have memories of watching this every Halloween, yet I could not tell you what it is actually about.

Halloweentown

Giphy

Halloweentown is one of the best - if not THE best - series to come out of Disney.

Mostly Ghostly: Have You Met My Ghoulfriend?

Who doesn't love R.L. Stine?

Casper

There's so many Casper movies...but I love them all!!!

Wallace & Gromit are TIMELESS. A were-rabbit?? Yes please!

Hocus Pocus

Giphy

Disney icon Kenny Ortega directed this one - are you surprised?

This one scarred me for years. Took a move to a new house to realize he actually wasn't living under my bed.

Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge

To this day, I dream of being in a world that starts to gradually turn black and white.

Beetlejuice

Give me Winona Ryder and I'll be happy no matter what.

Gremlins

Giphy

Still scared of them to this day.

Under Wraps

The cheesiest of DCOM movies. Who wouldn't name a clumsy mummy Harold?

Coraline

Giphy

The fantasy and the horror blend together to make this beautifully chilling masterpiece.

Halloweentown High

Giphy

Halloweentown High is my favorite of the series and possibly my favorite spooky movie all together. The costumes, the relatable characters, the romance, the reptile purse - you name it and this movie has it.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Blair Waldorf
Stop Hollywood

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended.
