The words north and south usually bring two words to my mind, and those are 'Civil War.' For decades our governments have been the same. But culturally, historically, and geographically, these two areas are very different. Don't get me wrong, both places are very similar, but there are also some major differences. One big difference is how southerners react differently to snow.
Snow in the North
Snow in the South
1. When it snows, these two places go through very different things. School closes in the south for a lot less snow.
2. "A lot of snow" for most southerners is anything above two inches, and for a northerner, that two inches is nothing.
3. In the south, "cold" is 30 degrees, and 30 degrees is somewhat comfortable in the the winter for northerners.
4. Either way, snow is awesome.
