Going to school far away from home is hard. Especially when you have to leave all your favorite foods, favorite places, and best friend (my dog). There is nowhere like the North Shore and everybody misses these things when they're gone at college for a long time.

1. Portillo's

I'm not sure if I miss their cake shake, cheese fries, Chicago dog, or Italian beef sandwich more.

2. Lou Malnati's

There is no deep dish pizza that can even compare to Lou's. I considered having my mom ship me their frozen pizzas in a temperature controlled box.

3. HVAC

4. Old Orchard

They have Lulu, Nordstrom, Victorias Secret, Akira, Sephora, and Bloomies. What more would you need?

5. Their Dogs

Because everyone misses their doggies.

6. Sarkis Bacon Lorreta and Cheesy Hash

This is always my first stop after I'm gone for a long time. It's addicting and everyone knows it.

7. Their Parents Money

People in the North Shore are spoiled and going to college without your parents to make you dinner every night or give you money is hard.

8. Greater's, Homer's and Oberweis

9. Foodstuffs Salad Bar

10. Close Proximity To Concerts And Music Festivals

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

The holiday season is full of stress, debt, and forced conversation. While we rush through the month of December, it's important to take a step back and enjoy the moments before they're gone. I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
