With spring break right around the corner, it's time to start building a list of how you want to spend it. Where do you start? Where should you go? Can you afford it? You may be overwhelmed with trying to spend to spring break in the best way possible -- don't worry. This list will help you eliminate activities in order to make your list easier to create. These are 10 ways on how to not spend your spring break.

1. The DMV

If you're planning on getting your license over spring break, do it now. You don't want to spend your week off by standing in line and waiting for your number.

2. Going to Vegas (or any big city)

No, what happens in Vegas does not stay in Vegas -- because we will see everything on Twitter and Snapchat.

3. Skiing

OK, if you're planning on a skiing trip, I'd recommend seeing a doctor shortly after, because that's crazy! This is the week of soaking in the sun and escaping the cold weather -- not embracing it!

4. Homework

Don't procrastinate, get your homework done earl-- oh, who am I kidding, we're all going to wait until the end to finish our homework.

5. Staying indoors

It's spring break! Go outside and enjoy the weather. Or stay inside under the covers and watch Netflix all day. You do you.

6. Working out

No. Bad. This is a week of R&R. Give your brain and muscles a break and unwind. You've earned it. Go ahead and order a triple-cheese pizza -- nobody is judging you.

7. Driving in traffic

Unless moving a few inches over the course of an hour is fun, I would not recommend sitting in traffic over spring break. If you're traveling, try to get a head start before the traffic begins. Otherwise, Stockholm Syndrome will become your new best friend.

8. Tweeting about it

Do us all a favor and don't. We don't need to see that you're using all of the trending hashtags. #NoThankYou.

9. Going to the beach

Yes, you heard me right. Don't go to the beach during spring break. It'll be overcrowded, you'll lose your friends easily, and you won't be able to tell what just touched your leg while swimming in the ocean. Was that a child or something else?

10. Planning on what to do during spring break

This shouldn't require much explanation. Don't invest a lot of time planning. Otherwise, it'll be over as soon as you're ready to start. Enjoy it!

The best thing about spring break is that there are numerous ways to spend it. Use the time to unwind, relax, and breathe. The last thing you need to be worrying about is what's coming up right after the break. Don't worry about those finals, projects, or presentations due right afterwards -- embrace the sun!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
