Just like any city, New Orleans has its ups (and downs). But, unlike anywhere else, it has a little bit of everything in the best ways possible.
If there’s one thing I love about a place, it’s the culture and energy. A city full of liveliness, excitement and a bunch of people who like having a good time. Well, NOLA’s got it. And a LOT of it. I’ve never seen so much love and pride for a city until I came to NOLA, it’s pretty hard not to fall in love with a place like this.
Oh, and the food. A city with food like Nola’s is hard to find and impossible to leave. What I’ve learned from being here is that almost every restaurant is just as delicious as the next and unique in its own way—that’s pretty rare.
The design of this city gives it its own distinct character you really can’t find anywhere else. The design aspect of every boutique and restaurant is deceiving from the outside as they almost all look like cute little houses, even the drug stores and groceries fit in with the NOLA style.
If I had to compare New Orleans to somewhere else in the world my best pick would be some hidden away, one of a kind city in Europe. Everything about this place feels so European in respect to about everywhere else in the US. Even the rules, like the open container law, gives New Orleans an unmistakable, unforgettable disposition unlike anywhere else.
NOLA’s got a little bit of everything and much, much more.
