Noah Mac Is Taking The Voice Season 13 By Storm

I was confident that Noah would win this season of "The Voice" after just his first performance, and with each week that's gone by, the confidence has continued to grow.

My family used to watch "The Voice" on Monday and Tuesday nights all the time together. Our favorite part was always the blind auditions where contestants perform and try to get the four judges to turn their chairs, showing that they want them on their team. It was our favorite part because each of us would always choose a contestant that we felt would end up winning the whole show.

Since I've been in college I haven't been able to watch "The Voice" when it is live on television. But, that hasn't stopped me from choosing my number one contestant this season. Since, his blind audition where he covered Kaleo's song, "Way Down We Go," I have fallen in love with Noah Mac's powerful voice.

I was confident that Noah would win this season of "The Voice" after just his first performance, and with each week that's gone by, the confidence has continued to grow.

On Noah's Instagram, he has shared multiple photos where he shares his experience on "The Voice" as well as his personal thoughts and feelings on the songs he performs. One of the captions was, "Rented a guitar to start messing around with for my next performance. I really want to take a risk with this next one." Another caption was, "They won't say this on the show tonight but this is a huge performance for me. I stayed up all night creating an orchestral arrangement for tonight's song. I had every single note that you hear on every violin tonight in my laptop. This, the creation of music, is what I do. It's what I am. "

It is a cool insight to his performances and you should check it out on his Instagram and Twitter.

From his incredible voice, you would never guess that Noah Mac is only a 17-year-old boy from Dublin, California.

As of now, Noah has performed six times on "The Voice". Here are his performances below, in order.

1. Blind Audition: "Way Down We Go" by Kaleo

This is the performance that got me hooked. My mind is still blown that not all four chairs turned.

2. The Battle Round: "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" by Hank Williams. Performed with Keisha Renee.

Both of these contestants are amazing and I would not have wanted to be Blake in that situation. Thankfully, Jennifer Hudson saw how special Noah is and used her steal!

3. The Knockout Round: "Hold Back The River" by James Bay

This performance made me so happy. It was great to see Noah playing an instrument during a performance. Also, the note he sings while standing up from the keyboard gave me chills. His passion and energy during the performance were very evident. This was the performance when you really got a glimpse at how great of a performer Noah Mac is. He truly belongs up on that stage.

4. The Playoffs: "In The Air Tonight" by Phil Collins

Noah's deep notes at the beginning of the sound were breathtaking. When the powerful notes came into play it was game over for everybody else. Let's just say he owned this performance.

5. Top 12: "Speed of Sound" by Coldplay

Coldplay + Noah Mac + a guitar = a solid performance.

6. Top 11: "Electric Love" by BØRNS

This was definitely my favorite performance of Noah's in the competition so far. This stripped-down song allowed you to really focus on Noah's incredible vocals and performance skills as well as how much they have grown since his first performance. Also, he showed so much passion during this performance! You can tell that he truly loves being up on stage.

What will Noah Mac sing next week?

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
