Every year we are asked what we want to improve on in the new year. Do you want to lose weight? Eat better? Excel in school? It is the never ending questioning on how you can make yourself maybe that little 10% better. But why do we need a resolution to complete any of those things? The answer is you don't. There are simple steps you can take to accomplish those goals at any time of the year. It shouldn't take the countdown clock to drag yourself into the gym. It doesn't need to be next week when you choose grapes over chips. And it does not mean wait till next semester to get that grade you want. Take this new year to improve yourself but do it on your own time. Don't let the date dictate when you can be the best version of yourself. Don't settle for the extra 10%, when you can push yourself to be 100%. 2017 may be your year or you could start right now. No need loosing sleep on your resolution when it may not even be needed. The countdown is on, but not to the New Year, to the new you.
