No Matter What Life Throws At You He Has Your Back

Life dropped on the line

Father God hear my cries

May be struggling now

But I know God sees the pain

He sees the lies that I try to deny

He sees the hiding and the shame

I bash myself because I know the truth

But yet I let it overpower me like a earthquake came through

I know he will never let me go

And I know that I need him to make it

Faking it won't do

So instead of letting myself live without a clue

Lord I want you and all your truth

You can take my hand

Be my guide through the night

Carry me walk when I feel weak

Be the voice of truth

Because you live in me

Shine your light on others so they can see

Your power and your glory

Resides in me

You're the reason why I’m living

You keep me on my feet

And take care of all my needs

You never downgrade me when I mess up

You take my hand and tell me to go on and don’t look back

Because you have me in your hands

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
