Picture the world with no makeup, where beauty standards no longer existed. We think, oh my god, no more Kylie lip kit, what will we ever do? But look at the bigger picture, if makeup never existed we would not know what makeup could essentially do. Women would be more comfortable with their natural beauty along with body standards. Having a certain nose or bigger lips would not matter. Posting a selfie to show off your contoured face would be irrelevant. Women would embrace the beauty they were born with instead of questioning it and wasting their money on products that claim to make them prettier.
think about it like this, boys do not wear makeup either they are good looking or their not. What you see is what you get and, honestly, they do not spend 20 minutes getting ready on contour BS. They seem quite happy. Some women wear so much makeup to the point where when they wash their faces you realize they do not even have eyebrows. I do not know why anyone would think that's right. We say boys have it so easy, in some cases they do, but in this case we can have it as easy as them.
If makeup never existed we would solely rely on natural beauty. So women say, " Oh I am so ugly without makeup." So imagine that makeup never existed. They did not know how it could completely transform a person, then they would think they are beautiful just the way they are. They would embrace their flaws, know their flaws are what would make them unique and as cliche as it sounds they would see that they have perfect imperfections.
Beauty standards have changed completely because of the makeup phenomena. From the contour videos to the lip challenge stereotypical traits have trended because of makeup. The benefits of less to no makeup range from having great skin to just being comfortable with yourself. Like do you not want to just wake up and look in the mirror without having to question what needs to be fixed or how can I look prettier. I blame makeup and society for promoting make up the way they do. They should promote comfortability and embrace natural glow and not come up with a new foundation that eliminates all blemishes.
I am not going to sit here and say makeup is bad or that I don't use it. Yes, I do, especially when a pimple decides to make itself a home, but just imagine the world without it. Competition between women would basically be gone, men won't get so shocked the first time they see a lady without makeup, beauty standards would be fair, and natural beauty would be great. We all have imperfections but it is up to us to see the perfection within them.
