The lie:
A heavy heart, crying eyes, sleepless nights, fear and doubt are all tricks the enemy will use to plant a seed of deceit. The deception gives the illusion: no one cares and God does not want to hear about this mistake, trouble, or sorrow again.
Whether or not it is our action or that of someone else, reality is: we find ourselves back in this same feeling of despair.
Beating ourselves up and punishing ourselves mentally may cause one to loose faith and eventually disconnect from Jesus.
The Truth:
Always Remember this Jesus said:
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. (John 10:10)
How does he destroy?
By filling the mind of a Christian with anything that takes their mind or focus off God. For when you are focused on the problem and not the Creator you are off balance and have no peace.
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
(Luke 22:31-32 KJV)
Brokenness is an opportunity to identify the problem and turn it over to Jesus. You can do this by simple praying to him. Jesus is an intercessor who speaks directly to God for us.
Pray without ceasing.
(1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV)
It may be hard. However, let God take the burden. Turn it over and stop worrying.
Be careful for nothing; but, in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
(Philippians 4:6 KJV)
The company you keep.
So, then, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17)
Knowing this, surround yourself with people of like minds. That will whole heartily pray, encourage, and love you. People without a hidden agenda; who require nothing of you. But only are an example by walking in the fruits of the spirit showing love and kindness to others.
Trust God! He loves you and counts the tears you shed. The Lord Our God will correct all wrong, dry your tears, restores, and supplies mercy.
You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. (Psalms 56:8)
Solution for any type of burden:
Keep praying and keep your faith. Because this is not your battle.
