Nintendo has always been the juggernaut when it comes to creating new video-game systems as time moves on. They continue to try to be as innovative as possible; so that they will deliver to their gaming audience. These are some of the greatest consoles we have gotten over the years.

1. NES

The Nintendo Entertainment System came out in Japan on July 15, 1983 starting a new revolution in the video gaming industry. This system gave us games such as Super Mario Brothers, Donkey Kong, and The Legend of Zelda, which we were all exposed to for the first time and allowed us to enjoy what was given to us through a console. It was from the very beginning that Nintendo started their successful journey within the world of video games along with more consoles to come.

2. SNES

In 1991 the Super Nintendo Entertainment System came out. It was the successor to the Nintendo Entertainment System with improved graphics and video games of the same caliber that greatly improved upon what came along with the NES. There was a big difference between what was available within a 7 year period of time, especially when it came to video games. Titles such as Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, and Street Fighter were all among the best titles on the Super Nintendo making it console to own and play.

3. Nintendo 64

Games that were three-dimensional became very popular during the mid 1990s as it was the next big thing in the video game world. This is where Nintendo took the plunge too and introduced players to their first 3D console the Nintendo 64 in 1996. These games being shown in a three-dimensional setting was enough to catch the eyes of players and explore more of what the games had in stores. When it comes to the Nintendo 64 we think of games such as Super Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64, and Mario Kart 64 all being wonderful editions to the extensive library of games offered by this console.

4. Nintendo WII

Nintendo came forth in 2006 by introducing a gaming technique that would use motion controls based on virtual play using a remote and nun chuck. It had actually worked out well enough where everyone playing got some enjoyment of getting up on their feet and using their bodies to play a video game. Wii Sports, Wii Play, and Mario Kart Wii are all titles that showed what can be done playing games that require motion for them to operate.

Nintendo has always tried its best level to deliver a gaming console everyone would enjoy playing. These are some of the best consoles they have come out with.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
