Boz Around

So how do you know that you live in a tourist town like Virginia Beach? Well, you get to start by being surrounded by many wonderful things that sometimes are taken for granted. Tourists come in town to see where we live, and no one can figure out why. If you think about it, you know you live in Virginia Beach when you see some of these marvelous things.

1) The oceanfront

This is the place to hang out. Whether it is just walking the boardwalk, laying out, or even getting in the water, this is the spot to be

2) The dreaded bike path

Though we are all glad that this path is separated from people casually strolling the beach, you know you have nearly been taken out by one of these. They come up out of nowhere, just when you think that you are safe.

3) Beach concerts

Whether it is some one you listen to all the time, or someone you have never heard, you will find them at the beach. It is a great time no matter who you go see.

4) The jets

You know you live in Virginia Beach because you will always hear jet noise. After awhile you just tune it out, but it is such a wonderful sound that we can all be so proud of!

5. Rudee Inlet

Everyone has heard of it. It is the tourist pot for excursions. They have so many different tours to offer!

6) The Virginia Aquarium

We went there on field trips long ago, and it's still there. The aquarium is a local spot that is always a hit.

7) The Locals Beach

All the locals know these spots. They are the spots like Chicks Beach, Sandbridge, and the North End.

8) Mount Trashmore

Yes, we play on what once was a mountain of garbage. Now it has turned into a local park that has many activities for people

9) Town Center

One of the most unique places in Virginia Beach. It is gorgeous when it is lit up at night. A "must see" for people who come from out of town.
