Think back to good, old days, when nothing else mattered besides your happiness, when laughter came easier than breathing, and you could
eat whatever you wanted without having to worry about putting on few extra
pounds. Think back to your childhood. What would you do to put that carefree attitide back in
your life? What can you do to get that feeling back?
1. Let it all out. Whether it is shoving your face into a pillow so no one can
hear you, or having the balls to do it in public, just scream. Why? Because there is always something in your life worth
screaming about. It’s okay to be immature every now and then.
2. Go play in the
rain, jump in a puddle. When was the last time you looked up into the sky, threw your arms out,
and let the rain hit you where it wants. Just let it happen, and laugh; laugh
until you have given yourself an abs workout and are completely drenched.
3. When it is not raining, still go outside. Throw a football, a Frisbee, a baseball, a rock! Just go throw something around. If you really want to feel like a child, play a game of tag because when was the last time you did that?
4. Go big or go home with the holidays. Halloween -- carve a cheesy pumpkin, wear a costume, and go trick-or-treating. Christmas -- decorate the Christmas tree, bake a gingerbread house, and leave milk and cookies out for Santa. New Year's eve -- go overboard on the confetti poppers. ‘Tis the season, everybody!
5. Go pool hopping. Hop from pool to pool and play some sharks and minnows, or Marco Polo. Have a chicken fight or a cannon ball contest. Even splash the girls who won’t get their hair wet.
6. Disney Channel. That’s So Raven, The Proud Family, Kim Possible, or Lizzie McGuire -- you know you used to love them, and probably still do. Relive Disney Channel’s glory days.
7. Find an ice cream truck. Listen for the cheesy music, chase down that truck, and purchase a SpongeBob popsicle. You’re welcome.
8. Board games still exist. See if you still lack the patience to finish a whole game of Monopoly or still get pissed off when someone sends you “Home” during a game of Sorry.
9. RIP board games? Break out the old Dance, Dance Revolution or Mario Kart, and see if you've still got game.
Don't be that person who needs to drink to have fun. It is okay to act like a child every now and then. You deserve it.
