Need some help finding ways to shake up your nighttime routine? No worries - keep reading for some ideas!

1. Tomorrow's To-Do's

Spend a few minutes to write out your to-do list for the next day. This when you know exactly what you are doing the next day. It always okay to revise it the next morning if you need too, but this way you a clear idea of what your next day is going to look like.

2. Skincare Routine

This always seems like the first thing to get tossed to the side when you are racing to get into bed... but don't skip it! Take the time to wash your face and moisturize. It really doesn't take that long and later you will thank yourself for establishing this habit now!

3. Pick Up A Book

Once you begin your nighttime routine stay off of social media. If you aren't quite ready to fall asleep pick up a book instead of scrolling through your favorite social media site. Grab a cup of tea and pick up that book that you have bee wanting to read!

4. Outfit Check

After you complete your to-do list, check the weather for the next day and pick out your outfit for the next day. You will know if heels aren't the best idea, or that you need to remember a jacket because it will be chilly. This also cuts down on all the time you'll spend the next morning trying to figure out what you want to wear.

5. Write Your Thoughts Down

Before you jump in to bed write down all your thoughts that you still have on your mind. Nothing is worse than getting in to bed and your thoughts are all still racing around. Get all your worries, fears, feelings, etc. out and this will help you have a peaceful state of mind when your head hits your pillow.

6. Meditate

Life gets crazy and we could all use five minutes to ourselves. The trick? You have to make it a priority! Take the few minutes right before you crawl into your bed and meditate. Concentrate on your breathing and enjoying the few minutes of peace.

7. Sweet Dreams Playlist

Create a music playlist with soothing songs to help you relax and get ready for bed. Have it playing in the background while you go about getting for the next day and for bed. And if you don't want to create one, there are plenty of playlists on Spotify just waiting for you!
