7 Signs You're The Best Niece And Aunt Duo

There are few bonds that compare to the auntie and niece duo. Here are 7 things that show that relationship...

1. Shopping for your niece

Whether your niece is with you or not, you always find yourself in the kids section shopping for cute dresses or matching outfits.

2.Sharing your food happens too often

It doesn't matter what you're eating or how little you have, that little person beside you has to have a piece off of your plate. It doesn't matter that she wasn't hungry 5 minutes ago.

3.Repetitive movie watching

It may be the 8,000th time you've seen Despicable Me, but you'd watch it again to lay on the couch with the little one. Musicals are stuck in your head, but so are the memories.

4.Play dates are your favorite

It may be hot outside, but your favorite activity is taking her to play at the park. Swimming in the sunshine is so much better with a little human.

5.Slumber parties!!!

Your niece's bedtime may be 9:00 pm, but who's going to notice if you're making shadow puppets at 10? Bedtime does not exist to an awesome aunt.

6.Your friends are her friends

Your niece loves everyone you bring around. You may be the best aunt in the world, but you can always be pushed aside for the new friend.

7. Selfies ALWAYS

Between all the ice cream dates and slumber parties, the have to be documented. Dog filters and silly faces are going to be the memories held forever of you and your favorite mini-me.

There are best friends, but then there are nieces. They come into our lives and steal our hearts, but we're totally okay with them keeping it.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
