Will Nick Be a Good Bachelor?

It's time to make our assumptions.

Will Nick Be a Good Bachelor?

There is a lot of controversy over whether or not Bachelor-villain-gone-Bachelor-sweetheart should've become the new bachelor. Nick Viall has had his moments of destruction. None can forget the cringe-worthy moment where he outed Andi Dorfman for dumping him after sleeping with him on live television. How can America forgive that? However, Nick won many hearts in Paradise when he got friend-zoned into staying the entire time. So, is Nick going to take this seriously, or just be another Juan Pablo?

With Nick always being the runner-up, I think it's about time he gets a better shot at love. But with the promos for the season, it seems that the drama will be loaded this season. I'm not sure how much of it will be contributed to Nick's initiation, but the girls themselves seem more dramatic than ever. The vibe I'm getting is that Nick will gladly participate in the drama until it comes back to bite him. With that being said, let's discuss some of Viall's potential women who stood out during the premier.

First, can we PLEASE discuss this crazy dolphin girl? Her audition video showed her speaking dolphin. If that weren't enough, she climbed out of the limo to meet Nick wearing a shark onesie while claiming it was a dolphin. She absolutely wouldn't have it when people called her a shark. As lovable as she is, if I were Nick I would be afraid that this woman would "just keep swimming" like Dory through the ocean blue and drown because of a serious identity crisis. But she got a rose and so there's more dolphin girl to come.

Next, let's discuss the more unnoticed crazy. Josephine is a contestant who just seems to be from another planet altogether. She acts like she's either still in middle school or is taking some kind of hard drug. I'm not so sure why she got a rose or if she will make it far, but I can tell you that Nick is about to have his hands full with this one.

Then, there's a contestant who is already a Bachelor villain because she was one of Nick's previous one-night-stands! That's right, I'm talking about Jade's maid of honor Elizabeth. How much drama will she stir up in the mansion? I mean, these girls are trying to get to know the guy while this girl could've had him all to herself yet chose to wait until the show. I'm not so sure this isn't a publicity move to be completely honest. But Nick keeping her around seems very sketchy since he even doesn't seem to trust her. This will be interesting, especially when the secret is uncovered.

Now, the biggest issue of all will without a shred of doubt be Corrine. This contestant runs a multi-million-dollar business and is used to getting everything she wants. Basically, she's a Real Housewife of Miami. The promo shows that she is promiscuous and catty and gets what she wants no matter who gets hurt in the process. I'm interested to see what island she gets left on during a two-on-one (not a spoiler, just an intense hope).

With Nick's playboy reputation and his crazy contestants, what do you think this season will be like? Will Nick find love, or will he disappoint viewers yet again? I'm hopeful for a good season! I'm rooting for you, Nick!

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
