This week was a long one, one deserving a weekend full of relaxation and enjoyment. What better way to bring in the new week with a Sunday filled with football? But there's certain games that aren't worth watching at all, and some that you just can't miss.
5. Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Though it may not be at the top of most lists, this match up is definitely something to see. The Rams showed the Seahawks that they aren't the top defense anymore, and they definitely showed that they can be an NFC playoff contender. However, the Buccaneers did the same. Though they were blown out by the Cardinals (probably Super Bowl favorites), Jameis Winston showed that he too can be a quarterback who makes a difference. Put these two teams together, and a match is set.
4. Baltimore Ravens at Jacksonville Jaguars
This AFC game speaks for itself. The Jaguars have proved that they can put up a strong fight, as we saw in the Packers game. And the Ravens are the Ravens; they can play when they need to, and this is a moment to do so.
3. Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers
The classic NFC north matchup pits two bitter rivals against each other. We all remember last year's game between the two, ending in an epic Hail Mary thrown by Aaron Rodgers for the win, and that just shows us anything can happen in this tight NFC North.
2. San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks
Last week against Carolina, San Francisco showed that it could put up a fight against one of the top defenses in the league. Blaine Gabbert also proved to be a consistent quarterback, and after the Seahawks lost to the Rams by two field goals, this proves to be a matchup that can prove anything. Don't forget both of these teams are bitter rivals from the NFC west, just adding to its appeal.
1. Denver Broncos at Cincinnati Bengals
Two high caliber defenses. Two powerhouse offenses. One heck of a good game. This is going to be an ultimate showdown between two AFC championship contenders, and this could be a preview for what's to come later on in this season. This match is definitely the one you want to catch, and it's airing on CBS at 1:00 PM.
