The NFL's regular season is coming to a close so it's time to for players to be awarded for what they’ve accomplished this season. I went through all the individual awards and predicted winners.
MVP: Tom Brady
Despite being suspended for four games to start the season Brady stepped right and played better than ever. Posting a 25-to-2 TD-to-INT ratio in eleven games and losing just once to the Seattle Seahawks. Even at the 39 years old Brady has continued to perform better than ever.
Offensive Player of The Year: Matt Ryan
Matty Ice has led a balanced Falcons offense to a first place finish in the NFC South. Ryans has a career-best 115.5 passer rating which leads the league, is third in passing yards (4,613) and third in touchdown passes (34).
Defensive Player of The Year: Khalil Mack
Mack is a one-man wrecking crew and has single-handedly won the Raiders a few games this season. He has 11 sacks, one interception, five forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries.
Offensive Rookie of The Year: Ezekiel Elliott
Ezekiel Elliott's top competition for this award is his own quarterback Dak Prescott but I think he edged him out. Elliot leads the league in rushing with 1,631 yards and is just 177 yards shy of setting the all-time rookie rushing record.
Defensive Rookie of The Year: Jalen Ramsey
Ramsey has been one of the few bright spots for the Jaguars this season. The No. 5 pick has proven that he's a shutdown corner with 61 tackles, 13 passes defended, one forced fumble, and two interceptions this season.
Comeback Player of The Year: Demarco Murray
Usually, the player that wins this award was injured the season prior but Murray just had a down year with Eagles after signing there as a free agent. In 2014 he led the league in rushing but last season he fell all the way down to 27th. This season he's bounced backed with 1,266 rushing yards on 282 carries and nine rushing touchdowns.
Coach of The Year: Jason Garrett
This is the easiest award to predict the have had the Cowboys have had the best record in the NFL for most of the season and the best team coach usual wins this award. Garrett has kept his young team in check and has them playing at their best just in time for the playoffs.
