Living in New York and as for other states can have their ups and downs. I love living in New York even though I may state that I don't like it here. New York has a lot of cool places for tourists to go sightseeing and learn more about the historical places located in New York. Here are a list of the top 6 things that you must explore if you come to New York. Make sure to make a pit stop in New York City, or the "Big Apple".

1. The Statue of Liberty: Location- Liberty Island, NY

The Statue of Liberty was designed by French sculptor Frederic Bartholdi and the torch lights the way to freedom showing us the path to liberty. And this was seen when the immigrants come over to Ellis Island. They saw this statue which gave them a feeling of freedom and a new life.

2. Broadway: Location- Theatre District of NYC

For any actor or actress it is a huge accomplishment to be in a Broadway show or musical. It is an honor to be a Broadway Debut for those who aren't already on Broadway and to take their first bows at opening night. Despite the cost of a ticket for a show on Broadway it is money well spent. These actors and actresses train and rehearse several times a day and went to school to do these shows eight times a week or even maybe more. These are highly trained and professionals and are totally worth the extensive prices.

3. Times Square: Location- 42nd Street, Manhattan, NYC

Times Square is a large area in Manhattan where there are commercial stores and bright lights. Times Square is also known for the annual New Years Eve celebration with the traditional ball drop. Some of New York's best known buildings are in Times Square they are the United Nations, Chrysler Building, Grand Central Terminal, and the Port Authority Bus Terminal, and in the heart of times square is the Theatre district aka Broadway.

4. Yankee Stadium: Location- 1 E 161st St, Bronx, NY 10451

"Take me out to the ballgame" sings throughout the crowd! Make sure to catch a game at Yankee Stadium during their season. It is so much fun! Any MLB games are worth going to because you can cheer on your favorite team while having amazing seats with the traditional stadium food. Yankee stadium is located in the heart of Bronx, NYC. GO YANKEES!!!!

5. SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center): Location- Saratoga Springs, NY

SPAC is a large music amphitheatre located in Saratoga Springs, NY. This venue host the NYC Ballet Company, The Philadelphia Orchestra in the center of Spa State Park. Some other events that are occasionally held at SPAC present superior chamber music, jazz, rock and pop concerts, opera, the Saratoga Wing&Food Festival. This venue is near the National Museum of Dance. SPAC also brings several famous artists/rappers such as Zac Brown Band, Florida Georgia Line, Toby Keith, Luke Bryan, Dave Matthews Band, Snoop Dog, Wiz Khalifa, and many other well-known artists.

6. Albany, NY (Capital of New York): Location- Albany, NY

Downtown Albany has various venues such as a large preforming center called the Times Union Center (TU is the local newspaper), a performance space called the Egg due to egg-shaped structure, and there is also a small theatre called the Capital
Repertory Theatre and the Palace. There are small, but interesting food shops as well. But I fee like Albany is mostly a work place with many office buildings. Albany has a well-known and regarded state museum which is amazing and has many interesting exhibits within. You can also visit and tour the Capital Building.

Make sure to check out these hot spots when you are visiting New York among other cool places around NY State!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
