Everything You Need to Know About The New York Post's Collaboration with Supreme

This past Monday unbeknownst to most New Yorkers who regularly purchase the New York Post paper the logo for prominent streetwear brand Supreme would be plastered on its cover. While most thought nothing of the collaboration between the New York Post and Supreme, a lot of collectors and resellers clamored to get their hands on a copy.

Supreme has been growing in popularity for the last 10 years, and a lot of the brand's products resell on the internet for double or triple its original retail price. The Supreme New York Post paper was no different. The paper cost a dollar to purchase but now it can be seen reselling for between 20 to 30 dollars on eBay.

A newspapers value significantly rose because of a logo on the front of it, this is telling especially in a time where a lot of news is seen online. The New York Times sold out of this paper which is a rarity and now this collaboration opens the door for Supreme to collaborate with other companies that aren't particularly fashion driven.

Supreme's biggest collaboration was with designer brand Louis Vuitton in 2017, and most of the products from this collaboration are reselling for thousands of dollars. Supreme has been around since 1994 so for a relatively new brand, compared to brands like Nike or Adidas, to be on a paper that dates back to the 1800s shows how influential it is.

Supreme is expensive, their t-shirts resell from 50 to 1000 dollars on sites like eBay. I mention their resell prices instead of their retail prices because usually, their products sell out relatively quick. There is currently a huge demand for Supreme, despite the prices, and this paper demonstrates this. I don't know where the brand will go next but I can almost guarantee that it will sell out and be profitable on the resell market.

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
