Well, 2016 is finally upon us. As we're saying goodbye to 2015, we're also rejoicing for the new year because there are so many things we have to look forward to. More specifically, there are so many new movies and TV shows we have to look forward to. "X-Men: Apocalypse,""Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," "Sherlock," etc. All of these are great, but the biggest event of 2016, the premiere I'm (not so patiently) waiting for, the thing every nerd has been dreaming of since the end of season five... Season six of "Game of Thrones". I get excited just typing that. HBO has recently teased us with a first look at Bran Stark, and with a new promo poster including Jon Snow. So, naturally "Game of Thrones" fans are freaking out with excitement, of course. Alas, we have to wait until April. While we wait, what better way to welcome the New Year than to see how our favorite "Game of Thrones" characters celebrate. Maybe you can relate.
Time to celebrate the New Year.
And let's be honest, some of you are Tyrion on New Year's.
Of course, we have to make unrealistic New Year's resolutions.
Then you realize that you'll probably never do any of them.
You decide you want to be more healthy in 2016, but before you do that, you have to eat all the sweets you can.
But eating reminds you of all the food you ate at Christmas.
When you look in the mirror, you think:
It's okay; you still look fabulous anyways.
Suddenly, you realize that break is over soon and it's back to reality.
You start thinking about your grades, but then again...
At first, all of those holiday engagement announcements got you feeling like:
But then you remember how great it is to not be getting married.
(Congrats to anyone who is, though!)
Now that you've celebrated, eaten all of the cake you can and mourned the end of break, it's time to hibernate until you go back to work/school.
Finally, the thing that sums up the New Year...
While it is difficult, we must wait a few more months for "Game of Thrones." Don't worry, because...
Happy New Year!
