It's time of year again where everyone, yes I mean everyone, starts to make up their New Year resolutions. Now I want you to be honest here, how many times have you actually kept your New Year resoultion... Very few times I'm guessing. Anyways, if you feel like you need a New Years resolution but want to keep it simple you have come to the right place. Here are 15, more less, maybe easy but maybe not, New Years resolution:

1: Go the gym! But motivate yourself by knowing you will see that cute guy/gal there and that you can eat more after.

2: Maybe take less selfies, or more selfies. Which ever you think is best.

3: Go Vegan or Vegetarian. Or eat more meat, whatever floats your boat.

4: Read 1 to 2 books a month, or look at pictures in 1 to 2 books a month.

5: Stop texting your ex, this one usually helps set the tone for the whole year.

6: Start sliding into the DM's of that cute gal or pal you've been admiring.

7: Start blogging! And if you aren't into blogging you can always read them. *wink wink*

8: Buy a dog!!!!!

9: Maybe get all A's in your college classes. Or B's, or C's. I dont really know, just a set a goal or something.

10: Spice up your outfits. And by this I mean, STOP buying the same 6 colors of clothing and buy a new pair of shoes.

11: Start a new TV series on Netflix, because Lord knows if we don't start a new series right after we end one, we will die.

12: Meet some new and exciting people. Try and get to know them. And no your hair dresser does not count.

13: Sleep more. We all need more sleep.

14: Maybe you wanna get out into the dating world. So you could do that. Make a dating profile or something. I'm not really sure how those work but they are on TV all the time so I'm sure it's legit.

15: Learn a New Language. I hear learning Hawaiian is hot right now.

I hope these ideas helped you out a bit! Happy New Year everyone. :)

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
