The New Year is a time when you might feel like you’re on top of the world. You make a lot of resolutions, but by the six-month mark, those resolutions are out the window. For the year of 2016, I made about five resolutions related to books and I only met two. Here are three ways for you to get your resolutions checked off your list.
Stick to things that you know you’ll get done.
Everyone is different. That’s also a reason as to keep your resolutions particular to you. If you know that it’s impossible for you to wake up every day at 5 a.m., but 7 a.m. is manageable for you, do that instead.
Be realistic.
This point ties into the previous one but it’s true. Being realistic to the resolutions you want to meet this year is key for you to finish them.
Make chores fun.
Most chores are not fun to do. They're boring, but necessary. I get passionate about cleaning the house by listening to audiobooks or podcasts. It sort of makes me forget that I’m doing a chore.

New Year's resolutions are doable if they’re things that stay within your range of motion. By no means is doing things out of your range a bad thing, but if you try to do all of the things at once, then there’s a possibility that you won’t do any of it.
I hope you had a wonderful New Year and your year is full of doing things you enjoy.
