Oh, how the time flies. Goodbye 2015, we hardly knew you. With the new year comes New Year's Resolutions. We all make them, and sometimes they can help kick off our year for the better. But, most of the time, we break them. To celebrate the start to our bright and shiny 2016, here are ten New Year's Resolutions that everyone makes - and why we usually break them.
1. Exercising more often.
We all try to hit the gym more, but it's just so much easier to stay home and watch Netflix all day.
2. Eating healthier food.
Because we'd take some In-n-Out over a nice, healthy salad any day.
3. Getting a decent amount of sleep.
There really are too little hours in the day; who has time for sleep?
4. Spending less time on the internet and more time outdoors.
I mean, you're reading this on the internet right now, aren't you?
5. Being more productive.
We all start our days thinking we're going to get things done... And then suddenly you've finished a whole season of Friends and it's already dark out.
6. Updating your wardrobe.
The idea of buying brand new clothes is always appealing, but finding something to replace your favorite jeans is harder than it sounds.
7. Reading more.
When they're turning all the good books into movies and shows, most people opt to just sit back and watch rather than read.
8. Learning to accept yourself.
It's simply difficult to seriously accept yourself, flaws and all.
9. Learning to relax.
With all of our busy schedules, it's almost impossible to get in some decent time to yourself to just relax and not take anything too seriously.
10. Picking up a new hobby.
New hobbies tend to become more chore-like than something fun. Remember that time you tried to learn to knit? Yeah, me neither.
