I will not back down

because there is no reason too,

since everyone is telling me to stand tall

and not be ashamed of who I am,

so I will not give up

or give in

or even end my own life because of it

and no one will convince me

in or out of it

although it would be interested to hear them say:

“Don’t go!”,

“Please stay!”,

“No one likes you!”,

I won’t listen to them

because it’ll be up to me as to what I do

and what I decide to do

and pick the path I want to take

just to make myself happy

and no one else

because I’m the only one that matters in my life

and I am my first priority

and my sanity is important to me

like any other person;

so here I go

head first

into this so called new life.
