I read somewhere once that "music shares the feelings of the soul". I couldn't agree more. I think we all have those moments where we just need that one song to listen to—that one lyric line to relate to—in order to feel as though the world makes sense again. Words are words, but music is song and emotion combined into one ultimate show of identity and yes, the "feelings of the soul".

For each experience and feeling in life, there is a song out there. Let me help you spruce up your playlist with the following shows of "feeling"!

1. Feeling vulnerable? Broken? How about that feeling when you've held yourself up for too long?

2. Feeling inspired but don't know why? Looking forward to something but don't know what it is? In the mood to just feel artsy and zen and spiritual?

3. Feeling misunderstood? Feeling like your world is crashing down and you want to rise above it...but there's no one to relate to? Want to bang your head to a good guitar solo?

4. Feeling on top of the world because you're finally over that person you hate? Feeling ready to just thrash your arms around to a good beat? Do you got this feeling on a summer day...?

5. Feeling nostalgic over a long lost lover? Thinking back fondly to memories long gone but still forever present? In the mood for an awesome jam regardless?

6. Feeling like you need help moving along? Feeling good enough to want some advice from the All-American Rejects? Feeling optimistic even though the present sucks?

7. Feeling in the mood for a Non-Cliché love song (but kind of a cliché love song)?

8. Feeling like you're letting go of all the wrongs and holding onto what is right? Feeling good for the sole reason that you know what you want, and who you want? Ho Hey!

9. Feeling good and unaffected and hyped? Feeling like you don't care about anything but your happiness and stardom? Give them something to talk about.

10. Feeling philosophical? Feeling like you're in the middle of an existential crisis? Feeling so meaningful you question everything? Question this.

11. Feeling like you need someone soulful to talk to? Talk to Brooke Fraser. She seems to know this type of therapy.

12. Feeling in the mood for an oldie? Feeling in the mood for a journey? Listen to this, Faithfully...

13. Feeling like the future is just full of possibilities...and you have a shot at taking one? Feeling like tonight's the night to take it?

14. Feeling ready even when there are obstacles in your way? Feeling strong and like you don't give a fuckeroo?

15. Feeling like you are who you are and there's nothing the world can do to stop it? Feeling like it is what it is? Feeling YOU?

5 Things To Do That Are Better Than Writing A Paper

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?

I can barely remember back when I was the only child. Most would say it’s because it is extremely difficult to remember things as a toddler but I would say it's because I was bored until my sister came along. My mother always says how important the "sister bond" is and with every year that passes I realize how right she is. Instead of writing a novel about all of the wonderful things there are about having a sister I decided to list a few of them instead.

It is the time of our lives that we are beginning to enter the adult world and most of us, if not all of us, have no idea what we are doing. It's like starting a video game, but skipping the tutorial. We're all just running around aimlessly hoping we accidentally do something right that moves us along the right path. Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.

If you’re anything like me, you love a good cup of coffee. My coffee always comes from Starbucks; I refuse to drink it from anywhere else. Over the years, it’s become one of my biggest addictions. College involves a whirlwind of emotions, whether it’s from the stress of an assignment (or twenty), or from fighting with your roommate. It can be overwhelming at times and it’s important to take a step a back and calmly think things over. Maybe gain some perspective.
