The month of December 2016 is going to be one to remember for the hip hop community. Several big named artists are set to drop new music this month such as Childish Gambino, Drake, J. Cole, Kid Cudi, and Gucci Mane all have projects with release dates in December.

Gambino got things rolling with his third album “Awaken My Love” dropping on the 2nd. It takes a big step away from Gambino’s hip hop roots and truly pushes the boundaries of the genre. So far the album has received mixed reviews but I am a huge fan and have had the song “California” on repeat since it dropped.

J. Cole threw everyone for a loop when he announced through Tidal his surprise album “4 Your Eyes Only” set to be released on the 9th. He also dropped two new songs dissing Kanye West, Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert and plethora of other new school rappers. The 9th also marks Cole’s two year anniversary of his critically acclaimed “2014 Forrest Hills Drive” which went double platinum with no features. Truly a historic feat. If Cole’s new album is anything like the two songs he released then his fans who have desperately been waiting for two years for him to come out with a new project should be extremely satisfied.

Kid Cudi’s new album “Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’” was originally set to be released in September but sample clearances got in the way. Shortly after Cudi checked himself into rehab for depression which led to the album being pushed back even further. Thankfully Cudi is out of rehab and finally ready to drop on the 16th digitally and physically on the 23rd.

Gucci Mane will also be releasing his new album “The Return of East Atlanta Santa” on the 16th (the same day as Kid Cudi). Gucci dropped a video for his single “St. Brick Intro” and it has set the internet on fire.

Last but not least the biggest name in the game right Drake is also supposed to be coming out with a new project. On October 23rd Drake released three songs from his upcoming project “More Life” which all garnered significantt buzz throughout the internet. “Fake Love” became Drakes 18th top ten song breaking a tie with Eminem for fourth most top 10 hot 100 singles amongst rap artist. Drake is currently tied for third place with Ludacris trailing only Lil Wayne (19) and Jay-Z (21) even though he has been rapping for a much shorter time period than anyone else listed. Drake has not given an official release date yet only stating on Instagram “More Life new project dropping in December” so we will all be anxiously awaiting the 6 gods next move.

This December “it’s lit” will take on a whole new meaning.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
