In case you couldn't tell, I'm a new lifter. Sometimes people decide to better themselves, mentally and physically. I've definitely learned so much and here are some of the few thoughts that I occasionally (or always) have.

How does anyone have fun lifting insane amounts of weight?

I never thought that working out could be viewed as fun. Honestly, the more I do it, the better it gets.

Why does my squat form look absolutely awkward?

Why do my heels come off the floor when I squat?

My entire body is sore. Why is this the only sign of progress?

I cannot walk up the stairs or sit on the toilet without shrieking, but I am building muscle!

I want to build muscle fast, but it takes so much time. Go slowly and add weight gradually for a healthy lifting journey.

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing!
