In just a few months, some of us will have a degree under our belt. A bachelors in English, communications, biology, archeology, music, education, and more. With hard work and dedication, our majors and minors will help us obtain careers and do things that we were meant to do. Our time in college will be missed but not forgotten. The late night study sessions. The movie nights with our friends. The dinners at our favorite hangouts. The happy hours after a long day of classes. The meetings for all of the clubs or groups we were part of. We will leave between friends that won't graduate until May or even the next few years. We will also leave behind people who have taught us and enlighten us on our fields of study. These professors have been important influences during our college careers. However, again, we will still have these memories to remember and look back upon.
Some of us already have plans after we graduate while some of us don't. It's ok. There is still time. You don't have to start "adulting" until after December 18. Life will be different. New expectations will arise. New adventures as college gradates. We will become working class adults. We won't have that 2 hour Netflix break after class. We probably won't have our best friends living next store. Therefore, we should appreciate the time we have as seniors, or even super seniors, to enjoy our last few months of college.
Some of us may be anxious to get out into the "real" world to discover ourselves. Or some may be scared to begin a new chapter in our lives. Just remember, it will take time to adapt to these things. Everything will fall in place eventually.
