College life is a pretty great experience in which you meet life long friends, pursue knowledge, truth and your life calling and have a lot of coffee, sleep deprivation and Ramen. If you haven't seen the hilarious show New Girl, consult your TV or more likely your Netflix subscription and prepare to binge watch.

But in the meantime, here are 14 reasons, why Jess, Nick, Schmidt and the rest of the gang perfectly sum up our college existence.

1. When you have back to back classes all day and dinner finally comes... seriously the struggle is real and food amnesia strikes.

2. Pretty much the only way that most freshman (and a lot of us) handle conflict with their room mates and hopefully we all learn and grow past it.

3. The awkward flirting of the freshman in the first weeks of school.

4. And when the couples hit up all the commons areas on campus... Great Room couples, I am looking at you

5. When the sleep deprivation gets real about three weeks into school or after an all-nighter.

6. And when your friends invite you out and you are just not feeling it.

7. When you visit home for the holidays and the family questions why you aren't dating or married especially if you're a senior and it's spring.

8. And your complaining to your friends and relatives about your grades and your homework level.

9. When professors on the first day ask for a "fun fact" and the awkwardness ensues.

10. We you realize that not only do your room mates and friends have annoying flaws that come out , but you do too.

11. But in all seriousness your roommates can be the best people ever and do life with you in a way that is humorous, weird and absolutely necessary for your soul.

12. The love hate relationship that we as upperclassman have with the freshman (as we are currently in denial about how we acted at their age.)

13. Ah the joys of hell week aka the week before ere all deadlines live and sleep is a mere memory. Finals week is a struggle.

14. And when Christmas break hits (or if we are truly being honest pretty much any other break that we are have no classes) and comfy clothes and Netflix become life goals.

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
