Friendships have been laying very heavy on my mind lately. Within the last year or so I would always wonder, "which friends will stick by my side at the end of the day?" "Who's shoulder I can cry on when I need one?" "Who will go on midnight drives to McDonald's and the beach with?" "Who will be around for my 21st birthday?" I always sit back and question these ideas.
Over the course of 3/4 of a year, I've started to realize that friends come and go. Some come and stay, and others come, stay for a while and then leave. There are those who come, leave, but come back and stay forever. It's the circle of life, except with friendship.
Honestly, if it wasn't for my new group of friends, I don't know what I would do. I would probably be locked in my room every night with a spoon, a jar of Nutella and Netflix for the rest of my life. That's the truth. Every night it's a new adventure. Every weekend it's another party or event. Every phone call, FaceTime call, text, is new, fun and exciting.
