6 New Product Launches Every Beauty Guru Wannabe Needs To Know About This Fall

In This Article:

It's that time of year again. Companies start gearing up for the holidays by hitting us make up lovers full force with all new products. However, I'm not mad about it and you shouldn't be either. Here, take a look, this is where all your money is going this holiday season.

1. Colourpop Disney Designer Collection

Launching September 28th, this 16 piece collection is every Disney lovers dream. You can finally live out your fantasy of being a Disney princess...or at least wearing a lipstick in honor of your favorite. This collection features 6 lipsticks, 6 super shock shadows, 3 lip glosses and a 15 count eyeshadow palette all inspired by the Disney princesses themselves. The whole collection retails for $110 on the colourpop website but each item will be sold separately so don't worry if you've got your eye on something particular!

2. Too Faced Gingerbread Spice

Too faced is known for their sweet scented eyeshadow palettes. It started with their classic chocolate scents, then they moved on to fruits like peach, raspberry and pineapple. At one point they even had a peanut butter and jelly one! Here we have their latest, gingerbread! Along with this gorgeous palette, the ginger spice collection also includes 2 melted matte lipsticks while the overall christmas collection features much more! From gift sets to mascara ornaments, you won't want to miss this spiced up make up wonderland!

3. Zoella Beauty Cosmos Collection

Zoe Sugg is by far one of my favorite youtubers. She started making videos focused around make up but had branched out to much more and now has her Makeupbooks as well as a lifestyle/beauty range! Her latest collection is called cosmos and features space themed bath and body items such as lip balm, hand cream, body mists, etc. But that's not all, the cosmos collection also includes lifestyle items such as hot water bottles, socks, a pompom hat and more! All are packaged in cool blues and baby pinks which let's be real packaging is just as important as the product itself. These products can be found in Ulta beauty in the next couple weeks according to the zoella instagram page so keep your eyes peeled!

4. KKW Cherry Blossom Collection

This one is for all the Kim K fans out there. I have yet to try any KKW products but the Classic Blossom Collection seems like a pretty good one to start with. Full of berries and pinks, this is the perfect color range for fall and the transition into the winter months. The whole collection is over $200 but for the right kardashian fan, the gift will be priceless.

5. Urban Decay Naked Cherry Collection

The cherry theme seems to be a popular one this fall season since here we see it again with urban decay and their Naked Cherry Collection. More pinks and plums which are a personal favorite for this time of the year. Plus the naked palettes are an all-around favorite. (RIP the OG naked palette) How can you go wrong with a classic? The answer is you can't. So if you're a naked fan, this is sure to warm you up this season.

6. Tarte Cosmetics Paradise Collection

Not a fan of the fact that the weather is getting colder and the leaves are starting to fall? No problem. Tarte has got you back with their new Paradise Collection featuring pineapples and lots of hot pink. Not to mention a lot of fun eye shadow shades, flamingo shaped brushes and a wide array of blushes. Seems like a beach holiday to me! Which is definitely a different route than the classic fall/winter make up but hey, let's hold on to summer as long as we possibly can. I know I'll be begging to have it back as soon as the first snow flake hits the ground.

Makeup brands are constantly coming out with so many bigger and better things that it's hard to keep up sometimes. So here I am, doing some of the dirty work for you, you're welcome and happy shopping!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
