It's so good!

Like most everybody else, I have been waiting a long while for Ed Sheeran to release new music.

On January first, Ed posted a little teaser video of him holding up a piece of paper saying "New music coming Friday!" Social media soon went crazy.

At exactly midnight Friday morning, Ed dropped not one, but two new singles; "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill." Both of which have the same shade of blue as the background, and right after they dropped Ed changed his profile image to the same blue.

Now, let's talk about these two singles, both of which I purchased.

"Shape of You" has a dance-like sound to it with Ed's iconic acoustic guitar sounds. This song is very different from other songs that Ed has released in the past. Personally, I like the song, but I have seen a lot of people saying that they do not like the sound of this song and it makes them miss "the old Ed."

"Castle on the Hill" has a more classic Ed sound, and tells a very vivid story. Almost every single comment I have seen on the YouTube lyric video have been very positive towards this song. I can honestly see this song being a huge summer drive song.

If these two songs suggest anything about how his new album will be, I personally think that it will be the most defining album of his career. Ed has always been an amazing writer, and he has so much natural talent, that he has created a huge following. Teasing his fans like this, only makes us want to buy his music even more.

Hopefully more music will come our ways soon. Until then, if you haven't heard these songs yet, I strongly suggest you check them out.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
