It's Never Too Late To Start Something

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago; the second best time is today.

Is there a deadline to success? If yes, what is the best age to succeed? It's never too late to create the life you always wanted.

In this digital information age, we have Mark Zuckerberg creating Facebook in his college dorm at the age of 19. So there is a lot of pressure too early, making it easy to feel left behind when you are 25 and all you have is a college degree.

Ninety-nine percent of Warren Buffet's its $63 billion net worth was earned after his 50th birthday. Charles Flint started IBM at the age 61. It might feel like you invested way too much time into whatever you are doing right now and if you start something new, it is going to be a waste and you will be throwing it all the way but you are ignoring the fact that you learned and grew as a person and that is something that you can never throw away.

This knowledge will transfer into your new venture and it will help you grow. The most important part in all of this is that where you are in life is not where you want to be. Starting something new might feel like taking a step back but in reality even if you start from scratch you are actually taking a step forward towards something that will make you happy.

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago; the second best time is today. Would it be better if you started 5 years ago? Sure but the past is the past, you can either sit here and think about how you could have started, how you could’ve done this or that. Or you can start today and focus on the present.

Some people might call you stupid and judge you for starting all over again, but these people are they really truly happy with where they are in life? You need to surround yourself that are driving towards successes and not people that are just living life day by day and are too scared to take a risk.

You need figure out what you want, put a plan into place and execute. Forget the haters and forget the doubters. This is your life, you only live once so live it right.

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!
