I was inspired by a fellow Odyessian who wrote an anti-bucket list, and I decided to do my own. Growing up, we always hear the term "bucket list" or things that we want to do before we die. And while that's great, I think it's a good idea to also think of a few things I don't want to do before I die.
1. I never want to go on "Fear Factor."
That just doesn't seem like fun to me.
2. I never want to take summer classes again.
I should have known that a semesters worth of work jammed into six weeks would not be a fun time.
3. I never want to write a paper again.
An accurate picture of me, currently.
4. I never want to let someone down.
This one is pretty deep, but probably the most accurate of all of them. (Plus, a cute cat picture makes everyone feel better.)
5. I never want to work in a factory.
Or a 9-5 job for the matter.
6. I never want to eat a bug.
If you don't want them in your house, then why would you want them in your mouth?
7. I never want to be in a mosh pit.
Being pushed around violently by strangers just does not seem like something I would voluntarily want to do. (Even though, I have been in a few mosh pit like scenarios by accident.)
So, there are some things that are on my anti-bucket list. I like to think I'm pretty adventurous and want to try most things, but who knows, maybe more will come to me.
What are some things on your anti-bucket list?
