I Love You Just Isn't Enough

When I first saw you, I never imagined that we would be where we are today, or even that we would be together. I wasn’t looking for love when I found you, you just stumbled upon my path and I couldn’t be happier that you did. I know now what it truly means to be in love because of you. With each day that passes I love you more and more and I am so grateful that God sent you into my life.

Thank you’s and I love you’s will never be enough to explain to you just how much you mean to me because these words aren’t strong enough. No word is strong enough to explain the love that I have for you. I just want to say thank you for loving me in such a way that I couldn’t imagine another loving me. Thank you for being best friend, especially when I feel like I don’t have many others that I can trust. Thank you for keeping me warm and letting me put my cold hands and feet on your back. I am sorry for the times I’ve kicked you out of bed, literally, but you don’t complain. Thank you for complimenting me every day and telling me how beautiful I am, even when I don’t feel beautiful or am a complete mess. Thank you for letting me smother you in hugs and kisses, even if I just saw you. What can I say, I just miss you every second I’m away from you. You are never afraid to show me off to your friends, family and even complete strangers.

Even if I just saw you an hour ago, every time I see your face I can’t help but to be excited. And that smile of yours, gosh that smile, it just lights up my face every time. I can’t imagine losing you. Life is so unpredictable, anything can happen in the blink of an eye and that is why I appreciate every moment with you. Every second I am away from you, I can’t wait to be with you again. Thank you for always making me laugh, regardless of what I am going through. Even if I am mad at you, I can’t stay mad at you because you will make me laugh. Your sense of humor fills me with so much joy. And even though you are silly most of the time, I do appreciate the times you are serious. I know I can always count on your unconditional love and support to carry me through my days.

Sometimes you may just find me just staring at you and that is because I feel so blessed to have you in my life. I want you to know that I would never take your love for granted. Sometimes you say to me, “How did I get so lucky,” but what you may not know is I’m asking myself the same question. I couldn’t imagine my life without you, whenever I am away from you I always feel like there is a part of me missing. You are such an incredible, caring, kind hearted person. It always amazes me the smiles you put on all the faces that surround you.

The best part of every day is when I get to end my night cuddling up next to you, then I know I’m home. If I wasn’t with you I would be out there looking for you. But I’m so glad you found me so soon because what better way to spend walking down this path than to walk it with you. If you think about it there really are no words to describe exactly what you are to me, boyfriend doesn’t cut it. You are my soulmate, my partner in crime, my better half, my confidant, my best friend and the love of my life.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
