There's no doubt about the fact that we all love Netflix. If you think about it, it's actually pretty crazy how much time we dedicate to it. We find these shows that grab our attention and instantly become obsessed with them. What makes it even better, for me at least, is finding certain characters in these binge-worthy shows and basically looking at them as role models.

1. One Tree Hill: Brooke Davis

Confidence, sassiness, humorous, selflessness and stubbornness all wrapped in one. Not to mention she's drop dead gorgeous. It was amazing to see her grow more and more mature as a character as the show went on. She started out as the typical hot party girl in high school to a very successful woman with a stable job, husband and kids. Who wouldn't aspire to have those things in life? It's safe to say she's definitely my favorite character. I could go on and on about her. I still believe Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday, after all.

2. Friday Night Lights: Coach Eric Taylor

Two words: husband goals. He is a loving father and husband and an extremely devoted high school football coach. He didn't let anything stand in the way of him and that is what I admired most. Especially when it came to his team; the Dillon Panthers. If anyone treated them badly, you better bet he stood up for them. You would think all of his players were his own children.

3. Breaking Bad: Jesse Pinkman

Oh, Jesse. Where do I begin? He comes off as this big jerk, when in reality, he deep down probably has one of the biggest hearts I've ever seen. When he cares for someone, he REALLY cares. Yes, he's done his bad deeds in the past; but at the end of the day, I can still recognize that he's aiming towards being a morally good person. As the show went on, all his character did was improve for the better.

4. Gossip Girl: Blair Waldorf

The ultimate Queen B (sorry Beyoncé). Very similar to Brooke Davis, Blair was full of confidence and knew not to take any kind of shit from anyone. She was also a strong believer in true love and never gave up on it. The perseverance she had was extremely aspiring and every girl should aspire to be like her (even if she can have a bit of an attitude, she makes it work).

5. Lost: Jack Shephard

The courage this man has is fascinating. First off, can you imagine getting in a plane crash and being stranded on an island with a bunch of strangers? And then having it in you to take one for the team and try to lead everyone in the right direction? I don't know how he did it, but he sure did do it well.

If you haven't seen any of these shows, I'm telling you now; watch them. You will not regret it, I promise. Inspiring characters such as these five make watching them that much better than they already are.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Advice To Live By As Told By Bob's Burgers

The Belchers hold the key to a better life.

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.
