Once you get through your favorite series on Netflix, whether it took a week or a month, you need something to watch next. You have seen all the movies, and don't know if you are ready to commit to another show and a whole new set of characters. I know, it is a lot to think about. But, if you are considering moving on to another series, here are some great shows that Netflix has to offer:

1. Parenthood

Always a classic, if you have not watched this yet I HIGHLY recommend. With 6 seasons available to watch, you could fill a lot of your time (and emotions) with this amazing show. You will fall in love with the family and think that you are basically a Braverman.

2. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

With only 1 season on Netflix (sad face), this hilarious show features a classic plot of a Midwestern girl who moves to New York. But, it has plenty of unexpected twists.

3. The Mysteries of Laura

Featuring Debra Messing, Grace from Will & Grace, this show perfectly combines humor and crime drama.

4. An Idiot Abroad

Wow, just wow. This is what rich people do for fun: send their anti social friend to insanely awesome places and make him do anything that would make him uncomfortable, and make a show out of it. So funny to watch Ricky Gervais pull this very expensive practical joke.

5. Wet Hot American Summer

Spin-off from the movie, this Netflix original features the same characters and their crazy antics. Has all of the greats in one show: Paul Rudd, Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon and so many more.

6. Sirens

Hilariously tells the lives of EMT's when they aren't working. A good -watch if you need a laugh.

7. Better Call Saul

A breaking bad spin off that isn't so bad. I can sadly admit I spent part(most) of my Spring Break watching this. And I am anxiously awaiting season two.

8. Trailer Park Boys

This show is downright ridiculous. It is the literal definition of stupidity. If you have never seen it you have to watch it and Bubbles' very quotable lines.

So, if you have plenty of time on your hands, procrastinating on school work, or are just a couch potato I strongly recommend to binge watch these series'. You won't (for the most part) regret it.

Parks and Recreation excitedly gathered around a laptop at a table in an office setting.

The library. Club lib. The place every college student goes when they want to try and be a productive member of society. Who better to explain your experience than Parks and Rec?

1. When you've finally found the energy to leave your dorm room and walk into the lib like

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
