Everyone has been there: you are watching a great show on Netflix, and you just cannot do anything but watch it. You know the end is near, but you do not dare to think about it. At last, you are on the final episode, and everything changes. As you click next episode you know that sadness and feeling lost will overcome you once the next 20 to 45 minutes is over.
The timeline of binge-watching a show on Netflix begins with some hard decision making. You must decide what show you are going to watch first. This usually depends on two things: A) what kind of mood you are in; and B) did you have any recommendations. This part is probably one of the hardest parts of your adventure.
Once you have picked a show, you may begin watching it. There is always that point while watching the series of “Do I truly like this show, or should I pick something else?” It is always okay to stop watching whatever show you currently watching and pick something else and then come back to the original choice. Not every show is going to knock your socks off.
When you have truly gotten deep into the show and trade over from casually watching to binge-watching is a huge mile marker. Going from just watching an episode before bed to scheduling your life around watching your show is pretty major. We have all been at that point of pushing back homework or hanging out with people to watch just one more episode. You cannot just truly watch one more episode, just like you cannot just eat one Oreo.
The ending is near when you hit that last season. It is a pretty emotional time for you internally. You have spent so much time watching, and understanding the plot and the characters for it just to be over in the next 20 episodes.
The final episode is like nothing else. You want to know what happens, but you also want two more seasons to be right after it. Once the ending scene fades out, you are left with reality knocking at your door. Do you instantly jump into another series or do you take a break and venture into the real world? Whichever choice you make, there will always be those questions in your mind about the past shows you have watched. Will Cappie and Casey ever be together? What happens to Carrie that makes her "Sex and the City" Carrie?
