It's exam week. Crunch time. Stress. Panic. Time to pull all-nighters and to cram junk food down our throats that we'll regret later on. But hey, amongst the stress and upcoming tests, there's Netflix. There's "Grey's Anatomy," "Prison Break," "Friends," "Parks and Rec," and "Parenthood" to binge by the season -- so listen to the bad influencing voice in your head that says "Yes, you can fit one more episode in before you really need to study." I know you're thinking, "There are tons of reasons not to listen to that illogical voice of reason." That's cool, but I'm gonna give you the benefits of binging Netflix anyway.
1. You can become an uncertified doctor
If you've watched Grey's, you're basically a doctor and every day is a beautiful day to save lives. Binge watch Grey's over the holidays and you'll be ready to assist in any tragedy.
2. You can break out of prison
I've never been to prison and I don't plan on going...ever. BUT. Just in case I'm framed and the government is after me, I'm totally prepared thanks to "Prison Break." Those brothers have escaped with unprecedented skills.
3. Relatable shows give you peace of mind
Who doesn't love "Friends?" No matter how stressed you are this week, you'll be able to relate to the lovable group hanging out in Central Perk. They always seem to be procrastinating work and responsibilities, too.
4. Your friends are probably binging, too.
How does this benefit your Netflix binge? You can gather together, bring food, binge watch, and study all at the same time!
OK, so I couldn't really think of more benefits to binge watch your favorite show during finals weeks. I'll admit this wasn't my greatest advice, but take it or leave it. It's finals week and we are all oh-so-done and ready to sleep. Good luck, students!
