Whether you're sick, just need a binge, or are avoiding studying for finals - there's always a reason to watch a little Netflix.

Even though they took off some of our (or just my) favorites like House M.D., Lilo and Stitch, and Lost - Netflix is making up for it with the incredible additions in the last few months.

Here's a fun list of some of my favorite things that I think you should watch on Netflix right now!

1. Coco

Coco is by far one of Disney's best releases in the last ten years. And now that it's on Netflix, it'll be almost impossible not to get "Remember Me" out of your head!

2. The 40-Year-Old Virgin

I personally think The 40-Year-Old Virgin is one of the funniest movies to date. Steve Carrell is hilarious and the iconic scenes like when he gets waxed are simply timeless in their humor.

3. Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

I may be biased, but the Lord of the Rings series is my favorite movie series ever - so the fact that it's on Netflix now, and I can watch it whenever I please, leaves a special place in my heart for Netflix.

4. Black Mirror

If you haven't seen Black Mirror yet, you are definitely missing out. It's the modern/futuristic day of Twilight Zone. It's timely and each episode is a different storyline based on a crazy concept you never thought would be possible.

5. 13 Reasons Why

13 Reasons Why has to be one of the best Netflix originals yet. It not only starts a conversation about suicide but also a number of different issues that occur every day across the world like bullying, drug abuse, and sexual assault.

6. Chef's Table

Chef's Table is one of those shows you have to at least watch once. Each episode is based on one of the best chef or baker in the world and shows you the absolutely mesmerizing stories behind some of the most famous dishes.

7. Shrek

By far one of the funniest animated movies. Its humor isn't only for kids, but also adults and teaches some good lessons along the way.

8. The Imitation Game

There's something about the Imitation Game that makes me feel so happy. Whether it's the music or the story (not exactly the end), but the revelations. It's a truly beautiful movie that captivates Allen Turing (the man who invented the computer during WWII)'s story so well.

9. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days

Comedic. Uplifting. This romcom is by far one of the best if you want to laugh at all the ways Kate Hudson tries to lose Matthew McConaughey in 10 days.

10. Paddington

This movie is so underrated, and virtually none of my friends have watched it. It's actually so cute and funny! Paddington not only brings you back to your childhood but also adds a modern theme to it. It is a really beautiful movie.

11. Lion

A heartbreaking true story of a boy who falls asleep on a train and wakes up hundreds of miles away from his hometown. I cried so much while watching this movie on a long flight. The music and the acting are marvelous. And the story is unbelievable.

12. Mune: The Guardian of the Moon

This popped up on my feed one night, so my boyfriend and I decided to watch it randomly. Mune is actually a really good movie. It has a certain mythology to it that is illustrated throughout the movie and has a gorgeous look to it!

13. Moana

I couldn't complete this list without including one of the best movies of all time. Moana is beautiful and now a Disney classic.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
