Here are Your Netflix Picks this Winter Break

With winter break coming up, we need to start thinking about which Netflix shows to binge watch during the days leading up to the New Year. Here's a list of my favorite Netflix shows for your enjoyment this break!

1. Grey's Anatomy

If you're looking for some hospital drama with some hot doctors, Grey's Anatomy is for you! Even though this show has been on for quite a while, you will surely fall in love with all the drama that Shonda Rhimes has to offer!

2. Gossip Girl

If you're from New York City, you may appreciate this show more than others. Gossip Girl will keep you coming back for more.

3. Scandal

This is absolutely one of my favorites. The White House and scandals go hand in hand.

4. Switched at Birth

Can you even begin to image the drama the comes with finding out you've lived with the wrong family for sixteen years?

5. The Fosters

This is another one of my ABC family favorite. There can be so much drama in a house full of kids.

6. The Vampire Diaries

If you're into Twilight then this one's for you. It has the perfect mix of teenage drama and a touch of vampires.

7. Pretty Little Liars

While this show has been going on for quite a while, it is definitely show that'll keep you on your toes.

8. Twisted

This show only has one season but it is totally worth a watch. A teenage boy comes home from jail after being accused of killing his aunt. You can only imagine how rough must be.

9. The Walking Dead

Even though I've never watched this one, I've heard multiple great things about it. Maybe this the show I should add to my list this winter break.

I hope you can find a show that you like in order to keep you busy this winter break. It's a beauty how much time can pass when you're snuggled in your bed watching Netflix. Happy Holidays!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
