There are many, many Netflix Originals coming out every year. But there are some that you just can't miss! Of course, there are the awesome Marvel shows, lots of comedies, dramas and foreign language shows. These are just a few of the amazing shows, there are definitely many more you have to check out, but these you can't miss for sure!

1. Sense8

Sense8 is my absolute favorite series ever. It is so inclusive, lgbt friendly and represents everyone! I'm so sad it was canceled, but luckily we still have the final episode coming. I can't explain what this is about, but you should go watch it, right now.

2. The Crown

This Elizabeth II biopic is amazing. It is beautifully shot, the acting is insanely good and it is quite historically accurate. It is so good, go watch it now.

3. 3%

3% is a Brazilian Netflix original that is set in a dystopian world. The premise is incredibly interesting and the second season is (finally) coming out soon. I'm ready.

4. The OA

The OA is weird, but good weird. The story is really intriguing and the second season is coming out soon. The lead actress is phenomenal and I'm so ready for more.

5. Dark

Dark is a German series and focusses on the loop of time. It is really hard to understand if you aren't paying attention, but when you do you will be absolutely mind blown!

6. Altered Carbon

Altered Carbon is a pretty new series that's set in a futuristic world. A world where your body is just temporary and your mind can live forever. It was really good and I hope it'll be renewed for a second season soon.

7. One Day At A Time

This is the only comedy on my list and that is saying something. It is a sitcom revolving around a Cuban-American family. It is really funny and really worth a watch. The second season just came out!

8. Black Mirror

We all know Black Mirror. But it was worth mentioning anyway. If you haven't seen this yet, what are you even doing with your life?

9. Stranger Things

Stranger Things. Same as Black Mirror.

10. Orange Is The New Black

This was one of the first Netflix Originals and it is still going strong. We are currently waiting on the sixth season and season seven is coming for sure too. It is set inside a women's prison and I guess that speaks for itself.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
