The streaming site has over a dozen options that follow the British Royal Family specifically, and even more options having to do with royalty overall.

It's no secret that Hollywood has something for the British Royal family. We may have separated from them and gained our own independence centuries ago, but since the reign of Donald Trump, and even before that, U.S. citizens are flocking toward the popularity, grace, and effectiveness of the Royals.

I've been absolutely in love with England and everything about it since before I can even remember, to tell you the truth. So, when I say Netflix is just as obsessed as Americans seem to be, I know what I'm talking about.

When I connect the Royal family and Netflix, your thought process might happen to go directly toward "The Crown," and while it is certainly a very popular and current show about the Royals, there's plenty more where that came from! Here is a list of my top five picks for other Royal fanatics out there, not including "The Crown" because, let's be honest, we've already binged it two or three times anyways!

1. "The Royals"

Not to be confused with E Network's TV show, "The Royals," this Netflix hit follows our favorite royal family and is sectioned into the specific areas of their lives, from royal scandals to royal babies and teens. It's got both insightful wisdom from trusted advisors to the royal family as well as all the juicy gossip viewers could hope for!

2. "The Royal House of Windsor"

This documentarian series focuses on the last 100 years of the British monarchy. It looks into the more governmental side of things through the lenses of politics and power struggles. If there's one thing people can acknowledge concerning the Royal family, it's the fact that they know how to continue to come out on top when it comes to a power struggle.

3. "Elizabeth at 90: A Family Tribute"

Released on the eve of her 90th birthday, this hour-and-a-half movie uses real-time footage and home videos to shed light on the grace, elegance, and intelligence that exudes from Queen Elizabeth II.

4. "Diana: 7 Days That Shook The World"

I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a natural curiosity toward Diana, Princess of Wales, or "the people's princess" as I've heard some call her. This may be due to the fact that she passed away a little over a year before I was born or simply because I already love the Royals. But one thing's for sure, Diana was unlike any other royal at or before that time. I think Diana is the major reason why William and Harry are who they are today, and are as open and caring with the public as they have been. I also think that their wives exude so much of Diana's character, even though they never knew her personally. This documentary follows the media and public outcry in the seven days after the death of their princess and before her funeral.

5. "Edward VIII: The Nazi King"

Edward VIII is the famous monarch that chose to give up his throne for love. He chose to marry an American woman who had been divorced, much to the dismay of his family, and stayed by her side until their deaths. However, he also had a darker side than anyone imagined on the outside. Ruling and in the spotlight during the second World War, Edward VIII held sympathy for the one nation that seemed at its darkest - Nazi Germany.

Those are five of my favorite series or movies about the British Royal family (other than "The Crown," obviously). If you're a Royal fanatic, take a look and see what you think! Either way, you'll learn more about this famous family that's held their own in the spotlight for centuries.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
