5 Things Netflix Could Try to Have Instead of Friends for $100 Million

Over the last week or so it got leaked that Netflix was planning to remove the vastly popular TV show "Friends". After creating an uproar, the company then announced that they would be keeping the series on for at least another year for the steep price of $100 Million. This pleased some but also outraged others. Many thought "why pay that much money for the same 9 seasons of the same show we have all seen before when the company could have used that money for a variety of different things like movies franchises or other tv shows. So here are 5 other options Netflix could have attempted to get instead of "Friends".

1. One Tree Hill 

This beloved 2000's drama follows two brothers throughout high school and their young adult lives, and people were not happy when it was removed from Netflix.

2. The Harry Potter Franchise

A lot of people are arguing that Netflix could have tried to get some of the rights to the Harry Potter franchise.

3. Marvel Netflix Originals

Favorites such as Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Daredevil have all been cancelled, yet Netflix is fine dishing out $100 million on a tv show from the 90's.

4. Star Wars

Rather than only having one of the StarWars films why not put that $100 million towards broadening the collection and adding more?

5. The Hunger Games series

Many Hunger Games fans would love to see this series on the streaming service.
