22 Captions For Your Summer Photos From Your Favorite Comedy Shows

We all have hopes and dreams to take beautiful, aesthetic summer photos. After posing for half an hour, waiting until the right time of day, and spending an hour editing each photo, no one wants to spend any extra time searching for the perfect caption. So instead of trying to think of something profound, take a look at these quotes from your favorite TV shows that are perfect for your summer photos.

For that yearly beach pic

"I just want to lie on the beach and eat hot dogs. That's all I've ever wanted."

-- Kevin Malone, The Office

And those luxury vacation photos

"Sometimes you gotta work a little so you can ball a lot."

-- Tom Haverford, Parks and Recreation

Can't forget the obligatory bikini pic

"Sophisticated with a hint of slutty."

-- Leslie Knope, Parks and Recreation

And the summer shopping trips

"Treat yo self."

-- Donna, Parks and Recreation

For the impromptu group photos

"I don't know what to do with my hands. What do I normally do with my hands?"

-- Marshall, How I Met Your Mother

And the summer selfies

"Whenever I'm sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead."

-- Barney, How I Met Your Mother

Don't forget to document those sweaty after-gym moments

"I figured, if I'm going to be a mess, I may as well be a hot mess."

-- Mindy Lahiri, The Mindy Project

And the moments when you're really feeling yourself

"The only thing I'm not good at is modesty -- because I'm GREAT at it."

- Gina Linetti, Brooklyn Nine-Nine

For your moments of confidence

"I'm pretty but tough, like a diamond. Or beef jerky in a ball gown."

-- Titus, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

And traveling, of course

"I feel like I'm the Paris of people."

-- Gina Linetti, Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Can't forget the tasty food pics

"I have the right to life, liberty, and chicken wings."

-- Mindy Lahiri, The Mindy Project

And for documenting all your relaxing summer moments

"I wish I could, but I don't want to."

-- Friends

You can never have too many vacation pictures, right?

"I am running away from my responsibilities. And it feels good."

-- Michael Scott, The Office

For showing off that summer bod...

"I am better than you have ever been or ever will be."

-- Dwight Schrute, The Office

Especially that summer booty

"Big Butt. Bigger Heart."

-- Michael Scott, The Office

Just embrace those summer cravings

"If I don't have some cake soon, I might die."

-- Stanley Hudson, The Office

For those "what happens during summer, stays in summer" pictures

"Well, I guess I can't hide my crazy."

-- Jess, New Girl

It's not every day you check something off your bucket list

"Can we just take a moment to celebrate me?"

-- Schmidt, New Girl

For those "it's a long story" moments

"It's a weird life, but it's where I'm at right now."

-- Nick, New Girl

We all have those lazy beach moments

"Only strippers shave above the knee."

-- Linda Belcher, Bob's Burgers

But you can't forget how amazing you are!

"I am a smart, strong, sensual woman."

-- Tina Belcher, Bob's Burgers

And finally, we all know you love them, but after spending all summer with them...

"You're my family and I love you, but you're terrible. You're all terrible."

-- Bob Belcher, Bob's Burgers

Instead of spending your summer stressing over instagram captions, kick back, relax, and watch Netflix on a sunny beach. Or in bed. You do you, boo.

Just make sure to document it all. One day you'll be glad you did.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
