11 Netflix Shows To Binge During Your Turkey Coma

One of the best things about Thanksgiving break is four days of free time. With no homework to complete and days to relax, here are some Netflix shows to watch.

1. "The Good Place"

Eleanor Shellstrop has been placed in "the good place" by mistake after death. She is determined to stay, and enlists Chidi, a moral philosophy professor, to teach her to be a good person. She also gets to know her neighbors Tahani, a British socialite who raised billions for charity, and Jianyu, a Taiwanese monk, who may not be what they seem initially.

2. "Once Upon A Time"

In Storybrook, Maine, every resident is a fairy tale character, and newcomer Emma has to break the curse on their town that stole their memories.

3. "Insatiable"

A former fat girl named Patty gets revenge on everyone who wronged her while competing in a beauty pageant.

4. "Elite"

If you've finished Gossip Girl and want something similar, this series is set at a Spanish private school- with a lot more murder!

5. "Gilmore Girls"

You've seen Gilmore Girls: A Day In the Life, now go back to where it all started! Young mother Lorelai has to convince her parents to pay for her daughter Rory's private school education, but they agree to do so only if they all have dinner together every week.

6. "On My Block"

A racially mixed group of friends enters high school together in a lower income area of Los Angeles.

7. "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend"

Rebecca Bunch, a successful real estate lawyer in Manhattan, is dissatisfied with her life and decides to move to West Covina, California, the hometown of her ex-boyfriend from summer camp, Josh, after a run-in with him in New York.

8. "Dear White People"

We follow Samantha, who runs a college radio station called "Dear White People", and her fellow residents of the all-black Armstrong Parker House through their respective experiences at a predominantly white Ivy League university. Among them are Lionel, a shy reporter exploring his sexuality, Joelle, Sam's best friend who was valedictorian in high school and sick of being in her shadow, Reggie, who was unfairly targeted by campus police at a party, Troy, the dean's son and the campus playboy, and Coco, Sam's former best friend and student government head.

9. "Jessica Jones"

A private investigator with super strength tries to stop her also-superpowered former abuser, played by David Tennant, from ruining the life of NYU student Hope, and later uncovers just where her superpowers came from.

10. "Haters Back Off"

Miranda Sings rises to fame guided by her Uncle Jim's 5-Phase Plan. Colleen's real-life best friend Kory Desoto makes a cameo as a patron at a gay bar that Miranda ends up performing at, hilariously accompanied by Uncle Jim and her neighbor Patrick, who is infatuated with her.

11. "Life Sentence"

Stella, who has been living her life up until now believing she was going to die soon, learns from her doctor that she beat cancer and is actually going to live. However, she discovers that her family and boyfriend have been hiding secrets from her.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
