7 Binge Worthy Shows on Netflix

Yes, I am one of those girls with a huge Netflix sticker on her laptop from Redbubble. I love it and I have found some amazing television shows to watch over the last year or so. I have had my fair share of late nights, crying over characters, and even rewatching series because they are just that good. I have listed below some of my favorites which I would recommend to anyone.

1. "Breaking Bad"

Currently, I am watching it for the second time around. So, yes, it's really that good. It's about an older man named Walt who is diagnosed with lung cancer and turns to cooking meth to support his family. This twisted show is full of action, drama, and well drugs. It keeps you guessing and overall a fantastic show.

2. "Friends"

Hands down, one of the best television shows ever to hit TV. Every single episode is hilarious and keeps you interested. From smelly cat to ugly naked guy, this show is full of love, laughter, and of course, an amazing group of friends.

3. "Dexter"

A secret murderer who only kills people who have done harm to the world or others? Yes, please! This is a crime show that's full of action, secrets, and scandal. it kept me on my toes and guessing. It's a very long show but worth the time invested!

4. "Stranger Things"

I know, very basic of me to include this show in my article. But, in its defense, this is an amazing show. It takes place in the 1980s but with a modern twist in the sense that it has supernatural forces, events, and government experiments.

5. "The Office"

If you're reading this, live in Scranton and have never seen The Office, stop reading this right now and go watch it. This show is absolutely hilarious and perfectly describes what it is like to live in Scranton. You will fall in love with each character and the show in general.

6. "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"

Super funny show which takes place in Philadelphia, clearly. Several friends own a neighborhood bar and just trying to find their way in the world. With 11 seasons, you cannot ever get bored of this show!

7. "Grey's Anatomy"

Again, very basic of me but, honestly one of the best shows I've ever seen. You will fall in love with each character, you will cry when they cry, and you will be happy when they are. I got so invested in this show it literally took over my life. I say that experience is completely worth it. This is a very long series and is still airing on television but worth it once again.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
