President Trump recently announced his nominee for the vacancy in the supreme court. Unlike many of Trump's other appointments, Neil Gorsuch is definitely qualified to be considered, but what would could his career as a Supreme Court Justice look like? Here's Everything you need to know about Neil Gorsuch.

1. He's Young For The SCOTUS

Right now, the youngest person serving on the supreme court at the moment is 56 years old and the oldest is 83. Gorsuch is 49. Which means, if confirmed, he could be spending a good 40 years (give or take) shaping this nation. Depending on how you feel about his views, his age is either a relief or a just another reason why 2017 already sucks.

2. He Believes in "Religious Liberty"

Gorsuch sided with Hobby Lobby when they argued that having to cover birth control for employees under the affordable care act was against their religious beliefs. What Gorsuch and those at Hobby Lobby don't seem to understand is that many women need birth control for reasons beyond contraception... but that's another topic for another article.

3. He May Never Make It In

Even if Gorsuch has the votes of all 52 Republicans, he will still need eight Democrats. While there are definitely a few persuadable Democrats in the senate, but it is likely that they will block Trump's nominee after the Republicans successfully kept Obama from fulfilling his duty to fill the seat.
