I decided to challenge myself once and write a poem based on the mere appearance of someone random in my life that I hadn't spoken to. This is one of the few thst really taught me poetry allows you to express any feeling..

She walks with dignity

Constantly flowing through her stride

I ponder If the wings on her bag are angels

Or maybe she doesn't make her demons hide

Silent but deadly she trods

Through the sandstorms called life

I often wonder how she holds her ground so firm

I question what goes through her mind

Most would rather a crowd

So as to not feel left out

She instead sits alone

With No expression of doubt

From the way her hair falls

To the way of her dress

I see musical wonders

I see stories

I see her

And I feel blessed

It's funny sometimes sitting nearby

I'd wonder if we could be friends

But I guess I'd never know

Unless I took a chance in the end
